Our fear is with the canopy of the bush, and how much fruit is hidden behind leaves, are we going to be able to accurately capture what fruit is actually there. Once we started using GreenView we started looking at different ways to check our forecast – rather than just looking at historical data and thinking we should get the same again. Now we look at flowering periods – have they extended? Fruit sizing – is it different due to temperature? For us, forecasting is a key tool to get pricing correct.
